Distraught by Tuesday’s election returns, the first caller to Bradlee Dean’s Sons of Liberty Radio show yesterday mentioned the country’s turning to sin, toward adultery, false idols, and the “gay stuff” being won by majority vote. He asked whether God will deliver up America to its enemies.
What’s the most important issue for you in the 2024 election?
Bradlee Dean explained that in Lev. 26:17, this is the way God will deal with his people: “… you shall be struck down before your enemies. Those who hate you shall rule over you, and you shall flee when none pursues you.”
Dean further explained,
People have turned their back on God…. Since Sept. 11, America turned the wrong direction. Rather than turning back to God, they have turned toward lasciviousness. We don’t want God; we want to do things our own way…. I said to my wife just before the election, America deserves Obama because it’s the best medicine for the church. It wakes the church up….
He is saying, I’m going to put you through another four years of this. I’m going to see how you work it out…. I’m going to set judgments against you, and if you don’t listen to me here, it’s going to get harder and harder…. In the end, if you don’t turn, there will be a sword brought upon the people to establish his covenant. God will win the day one way or another….
There’s no question about our country. We need to turn back to God, not away from God…. God has blessed America. Now, America — turn back and bless God.
